Marco Art of Restoration specializes in the restoration, rebuilding, and refinishing of modern, vintage, and historical pianos. For more than 35 years, Marco De Lellis has worked with American and European pianos, combining traditional craftsmanship with the precision and capabilities of a modern restoration workshop.

Marco’s approach is rooted in the Old World tradition of musical instrument restoration, with skills first learned in Italy in his grandfather’s workshop and developed through decades of professional experience in piano rebuilding and fine woodworking.

Our workshop is equipped to handle virtually every aspect of piano restoration and repair, from structural woodworking and reconstruction to case refinishing, decorative elements, soundboard and bridge work, and complete piano rebuilding. Traditional hand techniques are used where appropriate, while modern equipment allows us to reproduce damaged or missing components with exceptional accuracy.

• Pinblock Replacement & Duplication – Delignit or Canadian laminated maple, including duplication of in-rim pinblocks for vintage pianos.

• CNC Reconstruction – Precision reproduction of missing or damaged decorative panels, carvings, moldings, and other intricate piano components, combining CNC technology with traditional hand craftsmanship.

• Complete key restoration – Ivory, bone, PVC and ebony keytops; rebushing, key leading and backchecks.
